We all know that having cute and functional workout gear makes working out more fun. I often test out new brands and styles, but have built up some loyalty to certain brands over time. I put my activewear through a lot and I want items that not only look great, but hold up through multiple Orangetheory classes a week, a bit of yoga, lifting weights, some Peloton rides and tons of washes. These are my current top nine. I was going to say these are the items I can’t live without- but that seemed a touch dramatic.
- Lululemon Fringe Fighter Headband I have this headband in just about every color. It is one of the few headbands that stays in place. I sweat a ton, especially on the Orangetheory treadmill. One time I went without it and I was blinded on the tread by my own sweat.
- Lululemon Back To Life Water Bottle Not much to say here. I like having a nice water bottle to motivate me to stay hydrated.
- All In Motion Strappy Sports Bra (Target) I love that this sports bra is only $16, comes in so many colors and resembles some much more expensive sports bras on the market.
- Lululemon Time To Restore Tank I love all of the current more cropped style tanks at Lululemon that pair so well with high-waisted leggings. This is such a fun color- but get it now because there are just a few sizes left and it’s on sale for $29. (Such a good deal for Lulu!)
- Sweaty Betty Harmonise Luxe Fleece Sweatshirt This is a higher price point but is so versatile. Can wear it to work from home, for school drop-off/pick-up and to/from the gym. Comes in a lot of great colors and is such a soft material.
- Athleta Aurora Crop Ribbed Tank I don’t consider myself a crop-top person, but with high waisted leggings it’s not out of the question. I’ve worn this top alone or as a sports bra. A lot of good colors, too!
- Lululemon Align Pant I have tried so hard to wear other pants. I can’t do it. I only wear these. They are flattering and the most comfortable pants I’ve ever worn. I’m about 4 years into my Align life and I’m not looking back. I get the 25″, which fits like a full-length pant on me and I’m 5’4″. They continue coming out with new colors and prints. I would size down if you want a more compressive fit. Also, I wore these throughout my entire pregnancy- they just keep stretching!
- Balega No-Show Running Socks The best sweat-wicking, not too thick, not too thin socks. They are $14 a pair and I haven’t found any socks I like better.
- On Cloudswift Running Shoes These shoes seem to be having a moment lately, but they are actually really great for treadmill workouts, biking and the rower. I am going on my third pair if that tells you anything. They are really lightweight, which I love for running intervals.
